Chi Alpha

at Texas State

Reconciling students to Christ & empowering them to transform the campus, the marketplace, and the world

Chi Alpha at TXST

Chi Alpha is a college ministry serving students at Texas State University. We are a community focused on loving Jesus and loving people. We offer a real community for fellow Bobcats, show them what a real devoted life to Christ can be, and what it means to take on real responsibility. Our main gatherings, called Tuesday Night Live, meet every Tuesday around 7:30 pm during the main semesters. There you can meet our Pod leaders, who meet with their friends once a week to talk about life and Jesus. Pods are where you'll find your best friends through college! We also host campouts, bonfires, mission trips, and service projects.

Tuesday Night Live

Tuesday Night Live is our weekly worship gathering. It's a time to worship God, hear a challenging message, and grow with the whole Chi Alpha Fam. We meet every Tuesday at 310 W Hutchison St around 7:30pm. We have a time of prayer and hanging out before TNL as well.

PODs (Small groups)

Our small groups, or what we call Pods, are the backbone of our group! It's where you'll can ask questions about Jesus, learn about the Bible, and meet your best friends. This is a great place to get to know the heart of Chi Alpha.

Missions, Retreats, & Conferences

Road trips, retreats, and serving together are also great ways to make memories together. Throughout the fall semester, we have multiple retreats and serving
opportunities planned! In the spring and summer we plan domestic and international mission trips. In Chi Alpha everyone goes, and we encourage students to be a part of the community and fulfill the Great Commission.
